OUR HISTORY

Evelyn D. Johnson was an enthusiastic and dedicated educator at Kensett and Pulaski County Special School District, where she retired after 31 years of service. She had a gift for engaging her students and reaching them at all levels. She was named "Teacher of the Year" at Baker Elementary in 1991. Since she passed away in 2001, her legacy lives on, and you will find the same enthusiasm and dedication to excellence at Evelyn D. Johnson Child Enrichment Center.
